Pharmaceutical practice of clinical pharmacists participating in the treatment of candidemia secondary to urinary candidiasis
Objective:To explore the pharmacological regimen and monitoring priorities of candidaemia secondary to urinary candidiasis.Methods:Clinical pharmacists participated in the consultation of 3 patients with urinary candidiasis secondary to candidaemia,formulated anti-infective regimens,adjusted the dosage of drug use and implemented pharmacological monitoring.Results:Candida albicans and Candida proximalis were detected by blood culture in two cases and one case of candidaemia,and the patients'infections were controlled after the clinical pharmacist adjusted the dosing regimen.Conclusion:Clinical pharmacists can give full play to their professional expertise when participating in clinical drug therapy,provide patients with individualized medication regimens and ensure the safety and effectiveness of medication.
