Meta-analysis of the effect of acupuncture therapy in the treatment of patients with uterine prolapse
Objective:To systematically evaluate the clinical effect of acupuncture therapy in the treatment of patients with uterine prolapse.Methods:By searching databases such as China CNKI,Wan Fang,VIP and China,CBM,PubMed by the computer,the clinical randomized controlled trial(RCT)research on acupuncture treatment of patients with uterine prolapse was collected.Meta-analysis was carried out by RevMan 5.3 software.Results:A total of 12 articles were included,with a total of 1 163 subjects.The clinical effective rate of acupuncture therapy(including common acupuncture,electro-acupuncture,warm acupuncture and combination of acupuncture and moxibustion)was higher than that of the control group[OR=4.81,95%CI(3.19,7.24),Z=7.51,P<0.00 001].The subgroup analysis of effective rate showed that the curative effect of acupuncture treatment was better than that of traditional Chinese medicine treatment,Kegel training and electronic biofeedback therapy(P<0.05).Acupuncture could reduce the recurrence of uterine prolapse(P<0.05).Conclusion:Current limited evidence suggests that compared with non-acupuncture therapy,acupuncture therapy can significantly improve the clinical efficacy of patients with uterine prolapse,improve the related scores of patients with uterine prolapse and pelvic floor muscle strength,but more high-quality clinical studies are still needed to verify.
