A preliminary study on the service mode of traditional Chinese medicine clinical pharmacist in the oncology department of traditional Chinese medicine hospitals
Objective:To explore the clinical pharmacy service mode of TCM clinical pharmacists in the oncology department based on their daily pharmacy service practice.Methods:The contents of pharmaceutical services were introduced,including pharmaceutical ward rounds,joint outpatient clinic of Chinese medicine physicians and TCM pharmacists,and medication education,and TCM clinical pharmacists how to improve their quality,participate in the formulation of individualized treatment plans and guide rational drug use were summarized by combination of case analysis.Results:Through the combination of theoretical learning with practice,pharmaceutical care provided by TCM clinical pharmacists could improve the safe and rational use of drugs and assist physicians in customizing medical programs for patients.Conclusion:TCM clinical pharmacists should strengthen their study of related knowledge such as TCM,pharmacy,Chinese and Western medicine theory,and can better carry out the pharmacy service work in the relevant departments in the future by combination of theory with practice and promotion each other.
