Effect observation of piracetam injection on severe craniocerebral trauma
Objective:To investigate the effect of piracetam injection on patients with severe craniocerebral trauma. Methods:Fifty patients with severe craniocerebral trauma admitted to Xunwu County People's Hospital of Ganzhou,Jiangxi Province from August 2021 to July 2022 were included and divided into two groups with 25 cases in each group according to random number table method. The control group received routine craniocerebral trauma treatment, and the observation group received piracetam injection,4 g added into 250 mL sodium chloride injection,once/day on the basis of the control group, and was treated continuously for 7 days. The changes of immunoglobulin level,Glasgow coma score(GCS),serum inflammatory factor level and cerebral blood flow index were observed before and after treatment. Results:After intervention, the levels of immunoglobulin A(IgA),immunoglobulin G(IgG)and immunoglobulin M(IgM)and GCS in both groups were higher than those before intervention(P<0.05),and the observation group was higher than the control group(P<0.05).After intervention, the levels of tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)and interleukin-6(IL-6)in two groups were lower than those before intervention(P<0.05),and the observation group was lower than the control group(P<0.05).After intervention, the pulse wave velocity(WV)and dynamic resistance(DR)levels were lower than those before intervention(P<0.05),and the mean blood flow(Qmean)and mean blood flow velocity(Vmean)levels were higher than those before intervention(P<0.05),and the observation group was better than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Piracetam injection can improve the prognosis of severe craniocerebral trauma, promote the recovery of consciousness and nerve function after brain damage, and improve immune function, inflammatory state and cerebral blood flow state, which has high application value.
