Clinical observation of Xingnao Kaiqiao acupuncture combined with virtual restriction technology in the intervention of vascular cognitive impairment non dementia after stroke
Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of Xingnao Kaiqiao acupuncture combined with virtual restriction(VR)technology in the intervention of vascular cognitive impairment non dementia(VCIND)after stroke.Methods:Seventy-eight patients with VCIND after the first stroke who were hospitalized in Hongdu Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine,Nanchang,Jiangxi Province from October 2021 to September 2022 were divided into three groups with 26 cases each.The control group implemented conventional cognitive training,the Xingnao Kaiqiao acupuncture group was treated with Xingnao Kaiqiao acupuncture,and the Xingnao Kaiqiao acupuncture+VR technology group was combined with VR technology rehabilitation training based on the Xingnao Kaiqiao acupuncture group.All three groups were given rehabilitation training for 4 weeks.The cognitive function and daily living ability of the three groups were compared before and after rehabilitation training.Results:After 4 weeks of rehabilitation training,MoCA score and MMSE score of the three groups were improved,and the Xingnao Kaiqiao acupuncture+VR technology group was higher than the Xingnao Kaiqiao acupuncture group and the control group(P<0.05);the MBI scores of daily living ability of the three groups were all improved,and the Xingnao Kaiqiao acupuncture+VR technology group was higher than the Xingnao Kaiqiao acupuncture group and the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The combination of the Xingnao Kaiqiao acupuncture and VR technology intervention can improve the cognitive impairment of VCIND patients after stroke,and improve their cognitive ability and ability of daily living.
