Investigation and analysis of visual health knowledge,attitude and behavior of parents of children aged 4-6 in Jinshan District,Shanghai
Objective:To investigate the knowledge of visual health care,attitude and behavior of parents of preschool children in Jinshan District of Shanghai to understand the relevant influencing factors of visual health care of children.Methods:From February to March 2022,a questionnaire survey was conducted on 3 896 parents of preschool children from 5 communities and 19 nurseries in Jinshan District,Shanghai,the contents of the questionnaire included general information and the information of visual health care,attitude and behavior of children's parents.Results:The average score of 3 890 preschool children's parents was(13.99±1.86).The univariate analysis showed that the age,residence and visual status of parents were the statistically significant factors for the total score of visual care(P＜0.05).The results of multiple linear stepwise regression analysis showed that residence and parental visual status were statistically significant factors for the total score of parents'visual care,visual health care,attitude and behavior(P＜0.05).Conclusion:The visual health knowledge,attitude and behavior level of parents of preschool children in Jinshan District still need to be improved,schools,families and community health service institutions should strengthen the popularization of children's vision health knowledge,constantly improve the level of parents'vision health care,attitude and behavior,and do a good job as the first line of defense for the prevention of children's myopia.
