Survey and analysis of extended prescription drug use in Gaojing Community Health Service Center from 2017 to 2023
Objective:To conduct a survey and analysis of the use of extended prescription drugs at Gaojing Community Health Service Center in Baoshan District,Shanghai from 2017 to 2023.Methods:Information of the names,classifications,specifications,prices,and quantities of extended prescription drugs issued between 2017 and 2023 were retrieved and collected through the hospital management information system of Gaojing Community Health Service Center to conduct a summary analysis.Results:The top three years in terms of the number of patients who had issued extended prescriptions at Gaojing Community Health Service Center in Baoshan District were 2020,2019,and 2021,respectively,the top three years in terms of the number of extended drug types were 2019,2020,and 2021,respectively,the top three years for the total amount of money of extended prescriptions were 2020,2019,and 2021,respectively,the top five in the total DDDc ranking of extended prescription drugs from 2017 to 2023 were metoprolol succinate sustained-release tablets,metformin hydrochloride tablets,pioglitazone metformin tablets,rosuvastatin calcium tablets,and clopidogrel hydrogen sulfate tablets,and the total DDDc of extended prescription drugs from 2017 to 2023 was(11.89±10.97).Conclusion:The demand for extended prescription services at Gaojing Community Health Service Center in Baoshan District is increasing day by day,timely optimization of drug management and systems should be carried out,and the community's centralized drug procurement catalog should be dynamically adjusted,and simultaneously standardized pharmaceutical services for extended prescriptions is carried out to meet the rational medication needs of contracted residents.
