Helicobacter pylori(Hp)is one of the most common pathogens,and inflammation of the gastrointestinal tract caused by Hp affects glucose and lipid absorption.In patients treated in the diabetes special clinic,as many as 75% of patients have significant gastrointestinal symptoms.Recent research data suggest a strong association between Hp infection with the incidence of type 2 diabetes.
