Application of cognition-early warning intervention in the low cultural level elderly patients with delayed treatment of type 2 diabetes
Objective:To observe the application effect of cognition-early warning intervention in the low cultural level elderly patients with delayed treatment of type 2 diabetes. Methods:Ninety low cultural level elderly cases with delayed treatment of type 2 diabetes who were treated in the hospital from July 2021 to June 2022 were selected, and divided into an experimental group and a control group with 45 cases each by random number table method. In the experimental group there were 21 females and 24 males, and the average age was(68.65±3.52)years.In the control group there were 20 females and 25 males, and the average age was(68.44±3.65)years.The control group were taught according to the routine education mode for diabetes,on this basis, the experimental group added cognition-early warning intervention, the treatment delay cognition, the scores of self-management,and the medical coping mode, and the blood glucose indicators were compared between the two groups. Results:The cognitive behavior score and self-management score of diabetes treatment delay in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group, and the medical coping score and the blood glucose control indicators in the experimental group were better than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The cognition-early warning intervention in the low cultural level elderly patients with delayed treatment of type 2 diabetes can promote their cognitive behavior level and self-management ability of treatment delay, improve their coping style, and achieve the better blood glucose control effect.
