Clinical efficacy of Yiqi Huoxue Bushen Formula combined with continuous renal replacement therapy in the treatment of acute renal failure caused by septic shock
Objective:To explore the effect of Yiqi Huoxue Bushen Formula combined with continuous renal replacement therapy(CRRT)in the treatment of acute renal failure caused by septic shock.Methods:Fifty patients with acute renal failure caused by septic shock admitted to the ICU of Xinyu Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital,Jiangxi Province from May to November 2023 were divided into two groups with 25 cases each with random number table method.The control group received CRRT treatment,while the observation group was treated with Yiqi Huoxue Bushen Formula on the base of the control group.The changes in renal function indicators,carbon dioxide binding capacity(CO2CP),vital sign indicators,acute physiological and chronic health Ⅱ(APACHE Ⅱ)scores,inflammatory index test results and outcomes were compared between two groups of patients before and 7 days after treatment.Results:The serum creatinine(Scr),blood urea nitrogen(BUN)levels,heart rate(HR)test results,APACHE Ⅱ score and inflammatory index in the observation group were lower than those in the control group 7 days after treatment(P<0.05),and the CO2CP level and the mean arterial pressure(MAP)test results were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).The mortality rate in the observation group was 4.00％(1/25),which was lower than that 16.00％(4/25)in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Yiqi Huoxue Bushen Formula combined with CRRT therapy can effectively improve the renal function,blood gas analysis,vital signs,and inflammatory status of patients with acute renal failure caused by septic shock,and reduce the mortality.
