Retrospective analysis of 859 cases of abdominal ultrasound examination in elderly people over 65 years old in Zhijiangxilu Community,Shanghai
Objective:To analyze the abdominal ultrasound results of the elderly people over 65 years old in the community,and to understand the abnormal ultrasound of the elderly people in the community.Methods:The abdominal ultrasound results of 859 elderly people over 65 years old from September to December 2022 were retrospectively analyzed,including 359 males and 500 females,with an average age of(70.98±4.80)years.Results:In 859 physical examinations 680 cases of abnormalities were detected,with a total detection rate of 79.16%.The top five abnormalities were fatty liver(45.75%),liver cyst(26.31%),gallbladder stone(13.15%),cholesterol crystallization in gallbladder wall(5.01%)and gallbladder polypoid lesions(3.84%).The detection rate of liver cyst was 33.15%in males and 21.4%in females,and the difference in males and females was statistically significant(P<0.05).The detection rate of cholesterol crystallization in gallbladder wall was 7.24%in males and 3.4%in females,and the difference in males and females was statistically significant(P<0.05).The detection rate of gallbladder stone was 11.29%in the elderly under 75 years old and 23.31%in the elderly over 75 years old,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The elderly abdominal ultrasound examination of hepatobiliary diseases is detected more in Zhijiangxilu Community,regular examination can monitor the changes of such chronic diseases to provide a basis for the management of diseases,which has the value in the early detection of tumors and other diseases.
