Objective:To explore development of community patriotic health services in Shanghai from residents'perspective by investigating the satisfaction of Shanghai residents with community patriotic health services.Methods:Shanghai was divided into A and B districts of the central city and C and D districts of the non-central city and a questionnaire survey was conducted from September to December 2022 by adopting the stratified cluster random sampling method to select 5 communities from each of the 4 districts with a total of 20 communities.The questionnaire contents included residents'general information,satisfaction with community patriotic health related services in the past year,perceived effectiveness of the four pests and perceived hygiene of various types of places.Results:Four thousand one hundred and twenty-two(81.8%)residents expressed satisfaction with community patriotic health services in the past year,including 2 529(90.3%)residents in urban areas and 1 593(71.2%)residents in suburban areas.The results of two-level variance component mode analysis showed that the location of area,the presence of rats,the hygiene of neighborhood waste disposal sites and the environmental hygiene of neighborhood surroundings were statistically significant influences on residents'satisfaction with community patriotic health services(P<0.05).Conclusion:Further attention should be paid to the development of patriotic health services in non-central urban areas,the establishment of a sound grass-roots patriotic health service system,government-led,multi-sectoral collaboration and community-wide mobilization to continue to promote the sustained development of community patriotic health services in Shanghai.
