Quality of life and influencing factors in elderly patients with hypertension combined with diabetes in rural area of Zhujing Community,Shanghai
Objective:To analyze the quality of life and influencing factors in rural elderly patients with hypertension combined with diabetes in Zhujing Community of Jinshan District,Shanghai,and provide the basis for improving quality of life for rural elderly patients with hypertension combined with diabetes.Methods:A total of 200 rural elderly patients over 60 years old with hypertension combined with diabetes who were still under management in the chronic disease management system of the jurisdiction on June 30,2022 were selected by using a simple random sampling method,among them,there were 79 male cases with the average age of(70.42±5.07)years;there were 121 female cases with the average age of(69.10±4.99)years."The concise health survey scale(SF-36)"was conducted to understand the quality of life and analyze the influencing factors of the quality of life.Results:The average score of physiological health was(265.17±81.71)and average score of mental health(283.61±73.01)of the quality of life in rural elderly patients with hypertension combined with diabetes.The scores of women,farmers,widows,poor psychological adjustment,poor compliance behavior,high fasting blood glucose,high systolic blood pressure and high diastolic blood pressure had a lower total quality of life score;women,BMI≥24 kg/m2,poor psychological adjustment,poor compliance behavior,high fasting blood glucose,high systolic blood pressure and high diastolic blood pressure had lower mental health scores,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Different intervention measures should be taken according to different characteristics of the population to improve the quality of life of rural elderly patients with hypertension combined with diabetes.
