Analysis of factors affecting the blood glucose control of elderly patients with type 2 diabetes in Jiuting Community in Shanghai
Objective:To analyze the blood glucose control rate and the influencing factors of the community elderly patients.Methods:The basic information and related clinical data of 219 elderly patients with diabetes in the chronic disease management system of Jiuting Community Health Service Center from May 2021 to October 2022 were collected,among them,there were 113 male cases and 106 female cases and the age was 60-80 years.The related factors which influenced the blood glucose control were analyzed.Results:The blood glucose control rate of 219 patients was 39.73%.The results of multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that the increase in the number of telephone interviews[(OR)=0.658,(95%CI)=0.399-0.936,P=0.044],no anxiety and depression[(OR)=0.005,(95%CI)=0-0.605,P<0.001],and good diet compliance[(OR)=0.003,(95%CI)=0-0.048,P=0.001]were the protective factors for the community elderly diabetes patients to reach the blood glucose standard.Conclusion:It is necessary to pay attention to the evaluation of the mental state of elderly diabetes patients,strengthen psychological health education,increase the frequency of family doctors'telephone interviews,communicate more with patients,pay attention to the diet health education of diabetes patients,and improve the diet compliance of elderly diabetes patients.
