Analysis of the effect of the POHP program in the improvement of scientific research capabilities of community medical staffin Qingpu District
Objective:To investigate the current state of scientific research capabilities among community medical staff in Qingpu District and the effect of the problem-oriented health promotion(POHP)project in enhancing these capabilities,and to provide reference for further improving the training system for scientific research capabilities.Methods:Community medical staffin Qingpu District who received the POHP project training from March 2023 to April 2024 were selected as the survey subjects,and after the POHP training course,the participants filled in the"questionnaire on the scientific research ability of the POHP project personnel in Qingpu District"in an anonymous form.Results:There were statistically significant differences in the number of community medical staffwho presided over/participated in the project as the first person in charge,the levels of presided over/participated in the project and the number of published academic papers as the first author before and after the training(P＜0.05).Upon completion of the POHP project,22(91.7%)medical staffstill had the willingness to continue to declare the project,and 20(83.3%)said that the POHP project was of great help to them.Conclusion:The POHP project is an innovative attempt to cultivate the scientific research ability of community medical staff,the results of this study confirm the effectiveness and practicality of the project to some extent,and the feedback from community medical staffalso reflects the problems and bottlenecks encountered by front-line medical workers in carrying out scientific research.
