Research progress in improving the management of postoperative fecal incontinence after modified bacon surgery
Modified Bacon surgery is an anal preservation surgery for the treatment of low rectal cancer.However,the significant changes in the digestive and urinary systems of patients were caused by the surgery,and the incidence of postoperative fecal incontinence is relatively high.There is no standardized nursing management plan for modified Bacon postoperative fecal incontinence at present.This article elaborates on the origin and development of the modified Bacon surgery,the causes and negative effects of postoperative fecal incontinence,and fecal incontinence interventions after anal sphincter preservation surgery for rectal cancer,in order to provide the subsequent development of nursing interventions for fecal incontinence after the modified Bacon procedure.
