Analysis of liver function status and risk factors in the elderly people in Sheshan Community of Songjiang District,Shanghai
Objective:To explore the status quo of abnormal liver function and related risk factors in the community elderly people,and to provide the basis for early detection,diagnosis and treatment of diseases.Methods:Seven thousand seven hundred and fourteen elderly people aged 60 and above in Sheshan Community of Songjiang District,Shanghai were selected for investigation,among them,3 586 were males and 4 128 females.The status quo of abnormal liver function and the influencing factors were explored.Results:Detection rate of abnormal liver function in the elderly people was 17.01%.The logistic regression analysis results showed that age(OR:1.448,95%CI:1 1.190,1.761),sex(OR:0.522,95%CI:0.453,0.601),alcohol consumption(OR:1.497,95%CI:1.245,1.801),phlegm-dampness constitution(OR:1.247,95%CI:1.050,1.479),overweight(OR:1.177,95%CI:1.029,1.346),obese(OR:1.514,95%CI:1.252,1.829)and hyperglycemia(OR:1.325,95%CI:1.134,1.549)were associated with abnormal liver function incidence in the elderly people.Conclusion:The incidence of abnormal liver function in the elderly people is relatively high in Sheshan Community of Songjiang District,Shanghai,the daily monitoring and prevention of abnormal liver function in the elderly people should be strengthened so as to improve the quality of life of the elderly people in the community and extend the life span of the population.
