Effect of combination of general practice and specialty mode management on elderly type 2 diabetes patients with MCI in the community
Objective:To explore the management effect of combination of general practice and specialty community management mode on the type 2 diabetes patients with mild cognitive impairment(MCI).Methods:One hundred and two type 2 diabetes patients with MCI who had complete information were randomly divided into an experimental group and a control group,the experimental group had 52 cases and the control group had 54 cases who had finished the screening.The community diabetic patients in the control group were routinely managed and followed up,and the experimental group was given comprehensive intervention with community diabetes specialist team as the main body,and after six months,the blood glucose control and cognitive function improvement of the two groups were observed.Results:At the end of the 6-month of following-up,the total score of cognitive function in the experimental group was significantly improved compared to before intervention,and among them,there was a significant improvement in the scores of visual space and execution ability dimensions and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Blood glucose,serum total cholesterol,low-density lipoprotein cholesterol,and high-density lipoprotein cholesterol levels in the patients were significant improvement compared to before intervention,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant change in the cognitive status in the control group before and after intervention(P>0.05).Conclusion:Combination of general practice and specialty diabetes comprehensive management mode in the community health service centers can effectively improve the cognitive function of diabetic patients with MCI.
