Study on the phenolic compounds content and antioxidant activities of red raspberry fruits from different producing areas and varieties in Xinjiang
To explore the difference of phenolic compounds content and antioxidant activities in red raspberry fruits from different pro-ducing areas and varieties in Xinjiang,this study analyze the correlation between polyphenolic compounds content of fruits and its an-tioxidant activities,and the soil driving factors,and to provide scientific reference for the scientific utilization of fruits and the planting layout of red raspberry.This study taking the mature fruits of two red raspberry varieties from the five producing areas in Xinjiang as materials:Manas'Heritage',Shihezi 142 Regiment'Heritage',Nalati Township'Autumn Britten',Bayituohai'Autumn Britten'and Bayituohai'Heritage'.The content characteristics of total flavonoids,total polyphenols,ellagic acid,chlorogenic acid and other polyphenolic compounds and the antioxidant activities were compared and analyzed,and the correlation with soil physical and chemical properties in different producing areas was revealed.The results showed that:(1)Among the varieties of red raspberry fruits from dif-ferent producing areas in Xinjiang,the phenolic compounds content and antioxidant activities showed significant differences,generally the total flavonoid content,ellagic acid content,SOD activity and DPPH scavenging rate of the fruits from different producing areas showed more significant geographical differences than interspecific differences,but the total polyphenolic compounds content and FRAP scavenging ability showed significant differences among different varieties.(2)The content of total flavonoids,chlorogenic acid and proanthocyanidins in fruits of'Autumn Britten'and'Heritage'from different producing areas had significant positive effects on their antioxidant activities.(3)Soil organic matter,alkali-hydrolyzable nitrogen,total nitrogen,available phosphorus and total phosphorus had significant positive effects on the synthesis and accumulation of polyphenolic compounds and antioxidant activities of red raspberry fruits,while soil bulk density had negative effects on the content of chlorogenic acid in fruit.
