Research developments of yeast culture's probiotic effect in livestock and poultry
Yeast culture (YC for short) is a microecological product with rich nutrition as one of the probiotics.It was made by fully fermented yeast on a special culture medium under specific process conditions.YC,as one of the probiotics,was widely u sed in ruminant product because of its function such as regulating rumen fermentation,increasing digestibility of feed,enhancing immune function and improving animal's growth performance.What's more,YC also has good effect on non-ruminant animal's growth.Therefore,this article reviews mainly from probiotics mechanism,research status about the effects and influence factors of livestock and poultry to elaborate the probiotic characteristics of yeast culture.
