Interpretation of the Association Standard T/AHMS 0003-2023 Guide to the value classification of meteorological cultural relics
Meteorological cultural relics are objects that reflect the history of meteorological development and meteorological science in China.With the improvement of the national meteorological modernization and the increasing emphasis on meteorological culture,new requirements have been put forward for the protection and utilization of meteorological cultural relics.On February 20,2023,Anhui Meteorological Society published T/AHMS 0003-2023,Guide to the value classification of meteorological cultural relics,which for the first time carried out the standardized research on the value classification of meteorological cultural relics,marking that China's interdisciplinary research in the two fields of meteorology and cultural relics is more scientific and standardized.This paper introduces the background of the standard and interprets the main content of the standard.It provides universal and directional guidance and suggestions for the principles,basis,collection factors and classification methods of the value classification of meteorological cultural relics.The purpose is to provide some reference for the collection,storage,research and utilization of meteorological cultural relics in meteorological museums,meteorological bureau history museums and other meteorological cultural venues,and to provide some theoretical basis and practical experience for the scientific and standardized management of meteorological cultural relics.
