A Brief Analysis of the Characteristics of the United States Government National Standards Strategy for Critical and Emerging Technologies
On May 4,2023,the U.S.Government released the U.S.Government National Standards Strategy for Critical and Emerging Technologies,emphasizing the importance of standards to the United States.This strategy proposes that the U.S.Government will strengthen its investment in standards in critical and emerging technology areas(CETs)and promote dominance in international standards.This Strategy is a national strategy for standardization issued by the US government and serves as the government's action plan for standardization in critical and emerging technologies.A year after the promulgation of the CET Strategy,this paper delves into the historical background of the U.S.standards strategy in the field of key and emerging technologies,analyze its development path and implementation progress,and focus on the specific initiatives,characteristics,and impact of its strategy to promote key and emerging technologies.This analysis aims to provide reference for key industry development and to further enrich and improve standards for the promotion of emerging technologies on an international scale.
