Finite dement analysis of RC column-beam joint built in traditional style based on ABAQUS
On the basis of seismic performance testing of RC column-beam joint built in traditional style,a finite element analysis is conducted on the RC column-beam joint built in traditional style under the effect of monotonic by ABAQUS nonlinear finite element software.Through these analysis, deformation pattern, concrete tension damage scatter gram, maximum main plastic strain nephogram, skeleton curve of monotonic load effect etc.of these joints are obtained. The main factors which affect the shear capacity of this type joints such as the parameters of volume-strip ratio, axial compression ratio and the spacing of beams were analyzed. The consequences indicate that the finite element analysis results of RC column-beam joint built in traditional style which used ABAQUS coincide well with the experimental results; While the volume-stirrup ratio increases, the growth of the shear capacity to joints decreases; With the increase of axial compression ratio, shear capacity and ductility of joints are improved to different degrees; The change of the upper and lower beam spacing of joints has little impact on shear capacity.Considering the coordination of the upper and lower beams and aesthetics of architectural,it is suggest that as long as it doesnt effect the beauty of the building, the upper and lower beam spacing can be increased properly to improve the shearing ability of the joints.
