Research on seismic performance of viscous dampers based on Tesla valves
Aiming at a new type of viscosity-based adhesive damping device based on the Tesla valve unidirectional liquidity. The MTS landmark electro-hydraulic servo test system is used to carry out multi-amplitude and multi-frequency cyclic loading of dampers in two working conditions of single and double valves. The theoretical model was established by the losses in the Slawa.Using MATLAB to simulate the new type of damped and traditional pore-type viscosity, and discuss the energy consumption performance of the new type of damper.Tests and numerical simulation results indicate that the new type of damper is a rigid speed-related type of damping device. The test values are basically consistent with the simulation value, which is more prominent than the traditional damping shock absorption performance.Applicable limitations can be adjusted by adjusting the number of valve groups to adjust the energy consumption performance.
