Effects of Pelvic Floor Muscle Training Combined with Low-frequency Postpartum Therapy De-vice Treatment on Pelvic Floor Muscle Strength and Effects in Patients with Postpartum Stress Uri-nary Incontinence
Objective To discuss pelvic floor muscle training combined with low-frequency postpartum therapy device treatment on pelvic floor muscle strength and effects in patients with postpartum stress urinary incontinence and treatment effect. Methods A total of 62 patients with postpartum stress urinary incontinence mainly received diagnosis and treatment at the Department of Obstetrics of Jinan Seventh People's Hospital from January 2022 to April 2023 were conveniently selected as the study objects, and were divided into control group(31 cases)and observation group(31 cases)using convenience sampling method. The control group was simply treated with pelvic floor muscle training, while the observation group was treated with a low-frequency postpartum therapy device on the basis of the control group. The pelvic floor muscle strength recovery, pelvic floor ultrasound indicators in Valsalva state,1-hour urine pad weight results, quality of life, and efficacy be-tween two groups were compared. Results After 3 months of treatment, the pelvic floor muscle strength score of the observation group[(4.25±0.23)points]was significantly higher than that of the control group[(3.26±0.22)points],and the difference was statistically significant(t=17.318,P<0.05).After 3 months of treatment, the im-provement levels of the Valsalva state bladder neck position, urethral inclination angle, levator ani hiatus area, and vesicourethral posterior horn in the observation group were significantly better than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).After 3 months of treatment, the 1-hour urine pad weight of the observation group(0.63±0.18)g was significantly lower than that of the control group(1.25±0.52)g,and the difference was statistically significant(t=6.273,P<0.05).After 3 months of treatment, the scores of psychological impact, social barriers, and behavioral restriction in the observation group were signifi-cantly higher than that in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The to-tal effective rate of the observation group was 93.55%,which was significantly higher than 74.19%of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.292,P<0.05).Conclusion Pelvic floor muscle train-ing combined with low-frequency postpartum therapy device treatment has a positive impact on improving pel-vic floor muscle strength, urinary incontinence and pelvic floor structure in patients with postpartum stress uri-nary incontinence, which can reduce the negative impact of the disease on life and has significant curative ef-fect.
