Effectiveness of Anatomical Intramedullary Nail and Proximal Femoral Anti-rotation Intramed-ullary Nail in the Treatment of Intertrochanteric Femoral Trochanter in Elderly People
Objective To compare the clinical efficacy of treating elderly patients with intertrochanteric fe-mur trochanter with proximal femoral anti-rotation intramedullary nail and anatomical intramedullary nail.Methods A total of 74 elderly patients with intertrochanteric trochanter of femur treated in the Heze Third People's Hospital from March 2022 to March 2023 were conveniently selected as the study objects,and they were divided into two groups by envelope drawing method,control group(n=37,anatomic intramedullary nail treatment)and observation group(n=37,proximal femur antirotation intramedullary nail treatment).Periopera-tive indexes,fracture healing indexes,postoperative biomechanical indexes and hip function scores in different postoperative periods were compared between the two groups.Results The operation time and blood loss in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).The weight-bearing time and fracture healing time in the observation group were better than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).The Harris Hip Joint Function Scale(Harris)score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,and the differ-ence was statistically significant(P<0.05).The biomechanical indexes compressive test(91.25±12.36)N/mm,failure load(3 305.24±258.65)N,torsion test(1.04±0.21)Nm/° of the observation group were better than the control group(42.12±11.26)N/mm,(2 235.54±231.21)N and(1.57±0.26)Nm/°,and the differences were statis-tically significant(t=17.874,18.755,9.646,all P<0.05).Conclusion In elderly patients with intertrochanteric femoral fractures,the use of proximal anti-rotation intramedullary nail fixation has better clinical effect.
