Objective To analyze the effect of prenatal ultrasound combined with magnetic resonance imag-ing in the prenatal diagnosis of placenta implantation. Methods A total of 106 suspected placenta implantation pregnancies admitted to Nanjing Gulou Hospital Group Suqian Hospital from March 2020 to May 2023 were conveniently selected as the study objects. All of them were given ultrasound and magnetic resonance imaging. The accuracy of the prenatal examination was confirmed by clinical or pathological analysis, and the diagnostic efficacy of the two examination methods and the combined examination was analyzed statistically. Results Forty-eight of the 106 patients suspected of placenta implantation were positive and 58 were negative. The re-sults of ultrasound combined with magnetic resonance imaging were positive in 45 cases and negative in 61 cases. The diagnostic accuracy of ultrasound combined with magnetic resonance imaging was 95.3%(101/106),sensitivity was 91.7%(44/48),specificity was 98.3%(57/58),positive predictive value was 97.8%(44/45)and negative predictive value was 93.4%(57/61),which were significantly higher than single ultrasound and mag-netic resonance imaging diagnosis, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion For patients with placenta implantation, prenatal ultrasound combined with magnetic resonance imaging is of high value in prenatal diagnosis.
