Objective To explore the effect of azithromycin+Xiaoji Zhike oral liquid on mycoplasma pneu-moniae pneumonia. Methods Ninety children with mycoplasma pneumonias treated in Butuo People's Hospital of Liangshan Prefecture from August 2023 to January 2024 were selected as the study objects and divided into two groups according to random number table method. The control group(45 cases)was given azithromycin treatment, and the combination group(45 cases)was given azithromycin+Xiaoji Zhike oral solution treatment. The total effective rate, symptom resolution time, inflammatory cell level and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of the combined group was 97.78%,which was higher than that of the control group(82.22%),and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=6.049,P<0.05).The time of symptom resolution in combination group was shorter than that in control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of inflammatory indexes in the combination group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Azithromycin combined with Xiaoji Zhike oral solution can be used to treat mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia in children. It can not only reduce the levels of inflammatory indicators, but also shorten the time of symptom resolution.
