Objective To analyze the effect of Zengye Chengqi Decoction combined with lactulose on chemotherapy-related constipation in tumor patients and its effect on constipation symptoms.Methods A total of 66 patients with constipation after chemotherapy for malignant tumors admitted to Tinghu District People's Hospital from March 2020 to March 2023 were conveniently selected as the study objects,and were they di-vided into control group and observation group by random number table method,with 33 cases in each group.The control group was treated with lactulose,the observation group was treated with Zengye Chengqi decoction+lactulose,and the effect was evaluated after 1 week of treatment.Results After 1 week of treatment,the Bristol fecal trait score in two groups of patients was higher than before treatment,and the observation group was higher than that in control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After 1 week of treatment,the score of constipation symptom in 2 groups was lower than before treatment,and the observation group was lower than that in control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no signifi-cant difference in the total effective rate between the two groups of patients(P>0.05).The recovery rate of obser-vation group was higher than that of control group,and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.062,P=0.044).Conclusion The combination of Zengye Chengqi Decoction and lactulose for patients with constipation after tumor chemotherapy can achieve significant clinical effect and promote the improvement of constipation symptoms.
