Objective To investigate the efficacy of interferon combined with thymosin and oxymatrine in the treatment of chronic hepatitis B.Methods A total of 60 patients with chronic hepatitis B in the outpatient de-partment of Suzhou Fifth People's Hospital from January 2020 to January 2022 were randomly selected as the study objects and divided into control group and observation group, with 30 cases in each group by random num-ber table method. The control group was treated with interferon, the observation group was treated with inter-feron combined with thymosin and matrine, and the liver function, immune function and HBV surface antigen quantitation were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the levels of aspartate aminotrans-ferase,alanine aminotransferase and total bilirubin in observation group were lower than those in control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).CD4+and CD4+/CD8+in observation group were higher than those in control group, and CD8+was lower than those in control group, the differences were statisti-cal significance(all P<0.05).The amount of HBSAg in the observation group(1 215.76±23.54)U/mL was lower than that in the control group(1 854.28±117.06)U/mL,and the difference was statistically significant(t=29.290,P<0.05).Conclusion Interferon combined with thymosin and oxymatrine in the treatment of chronic hepatitis B can improve the liver function of patients and also play an immunomodulatory role, and is conducive to improv-ing the recovery of patients.
