Objective To investigate the clinical effect of Zishui Qinggan Yin and methimazole in patients with hyperthyroidism.Methods A total of 58 patients with hyperthyroidism admitted to the Fifth People's Hos-pital of Huai'an City from February 2020 to May 2023 were selected as the study objects,and they were divided into two groups with 29 cases each by coin tossing method.The control group was treated with methimazole,and the study group was treated with Zishui Qinggan Yin based on the control group.The total effective rate,the to-tal incidence of adverse drug reactions(leukopenia,nausea and vomiting,abnormal liver function,etc.)and clinical indicators of the two groups were compared.Results The total effective rate of the study group was 96.55%,which was higher than 72.41%of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=6.725,P<0.05).After treatment,the level of clinical indicators in the observation group was better than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups of patients(P>0.05).Conclusion The combination therapy of Zishui Qinggan Yin and Methomydazole can significantly improve the efficacy of hyper-thyroidism without increasing the incidence of adverse reactions.It significantly improves serum levels of free triiodothyronine and other indicators,and can promote a good prognosis for patients with hyperthyroidism.
