Clinical Efficacy of Suzi Jiangqi Decoction Combined with Sanzi Yangqin Decoction in the Treat-ment of Acute Exacerbation of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease with Phlegm Turbidity Ob-structing the Lung Type
Clinical Efficacy of Suzi Jiangqi Decoction Combined with Sanzi Yangqin Decoction in the Treat-ment of Acute Exacerbation of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease with Phlegm Turbidity Ob-structing the Lung Type
Objective To explore the effect of Suzi Jiangqi decoction combined with Sanzi Yangqin decoc-tion in the treatment of patients with acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease of phlegm tur-bidity obstructing lung type.Methods A total of 80 patients with COPD who were admitted to the Department of Geriatrics of Taixing Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2020 to May 2022 and whose TCM syndrome differentiation results were phlegm turbidity obstructing lung type were selected as the research ob-jects.All patients were admitted to the hospital due to acute exacerbation of the disease.They were divided into two groups according to the random lottery method,with 40 cases in each group.The control group was treated with Western medicine,while the observation group was treated with Suzi Jiangqi decoction and Sanzi yangqin decoction.Both groups were treated for 2 weeks.The TCM syndrome score,pulmonary function index,effective rate of medication and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results After 2 weeks of treatment,the TCM syndrome score of observation group was lower than that of control group,and the index of lung function in observation group was better than that in control group,and the differences were statis-tically significant(both P<0.05).The effective rate of the observation group was 97.50%,which was higher than that of the control group 82.50%,and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=5.000,P=0.025).The inci-dence of adverse reactions in the observation group was 5.00%compared with 10.00%in the control group,and the difference was not statistically significant(χ2=0.721,P=0.396).Conclusion Suzi Jiangqi Decoction com-bined with Sanzi Yangqin Decoction in the treatment of acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary dis-ease with phlegm turbidity obstructing the lung type can improve traditional Chinese medicine syndrome and lung function of patients,and ensure the effect and safety of medication.
