Objective To explore the feasibility of treating tinnitus of deficiency syndrome with reed tube moxibustion plus acupuncture and mild moxibustion at Taixi point.Methods A total of sixty patients with tinni-tus with deficiency syndrome who were admitted to the Yongjia People's Hospital and Wenzhou Central Hospi-tal from July 2021 to October 2023 were selected as the research objects.They were divided into the treatment group and the control group,with 30 cases in each group.The control group received general drug treatment,and the treatment group received reed tube moxibustion plus acupuncture and mild moxibustion at Taixi point on the basis of the control group.The clinical efficacy,the severity of tinnitus and the score of Tinnitus Handi-cap Inventory(THI)were compared between the two groups.Results The total clinical effective rate of the treat-ment group(96.67%)was higher than that of the control group(83.33%),and the difference was statistically sig-nificant(χ2=5.880,P=0.015).The severity of tinnitus scores in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).THI scores(functional,emotional,and severity)in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion After the treatment of reed tube moxibustion plus acupuncture and mild moxibustion at Taixi point,the severity of tinnitus in patients with deficiency syndrome was significantly im-proved,and the score of tinnitus disability assessment scale was reduced,with significant curative effect.
