Objective To analyze the value of nifedipine sustained-release tablets combined with tradi-tional Chinese medicine decoction in the treatment of hypertension.Methods A total of 100 hypertensive pa-tients treated in Jiaxiang County Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from May 2022 to May 2023 were se-lected as the study objects.They were divided into the control group(single nifedipine sustained-release tablet treatment)and the observation group(nifedipine sustained-release tablet combined with Chinese herbal decoc-tion treatment)by random drawing method,with 50 cases in each group.The therapeutic effect,blood pressure changes and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of the ob-servation group was 92.00%,higher than 76.00%of the control group,and the difference was statistically signifi-cant(χ2=4.761,P<0.05).There was no significant difference in blood pressure levels between the two groups be-fore treatment(both P>0.05).After treatment,the blood pressure levels of observation group were lower than those of control group,the difference was statistically significant(both P<0.05).There was no significant differ-ence in total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Clinical treatment of hypertension based on nifedipine sustained-release tablets combined with traditional Chinese medicine decoc-tion can effectively improve the clinical efficacy and make the blood pressure level more ideal control,the safety is high.
