Objective To evaluate the efficacy of Xiaoxuming Decoction in patients with acute wind-phlegm and blood statis type large-artery atherosclerotic ischemic stroke(LAA-IS).Methods A total of eighty-eight patients with acute wind-phlegm and blood statis type LAA-IS in Huairou Hospital of Beijing Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2022 to July 2023 were selected as the study objects and divided into control group(44 cases,given conventional Western medicine treatment)and observation group(44 cases,combined with Xiaoxuming Decoction for treatment)according to random number table method.The clinical re-sponse rate,nerve injury markers and coagulation function of two groups were compared.Results Compared with the control group(81.82%),the total clinical effective rate of the observation group(95.45%)was higher,the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.062,P<0.05).After 1 week of treatment,S100β protein,gluta-mate,neuron-specific enolase and fibrinogen were lower in the observation group,prothrombin time and acti-vated part of thromboplastin time were longer compared with the control group,the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion The application of Xiaoxuming Decoction in LAA-IS patients with acute wind-phlegm and blood statis type can enhance the overall efficacy,adjust the level of nerve injury markers,and improve coagulation function.
