Objective To explore the effect of Jianshen Zhuanggu Decoction+Western medicine on peri-menopausal osteoporosis.Methods A total of ninety-two patients with perimenopausal osteoporosis in Guang-zhou Development Zone Hospital from Febuary 2023 to January 2024 were selected as the study objects.They were divided into Western medicine group and combined group by rolling dice method,with 46 cases in each group.The Western medicine group was treated with Western medicine,and the combined group was added to Jianshen Zhuanggu Decoction for treatment.Bone mineral density index,bone metabolism,inflammatory re-sponse and total effective rate were compared between two groups.Results Bone mineral density of femoral neck bone and lumbar spine of two groups were measured before treatment,and there was no statistically signifi-cant difference between two groups(both P>0.05).Bone mineral density of femoral neck bone and lumbar spine in the combined group were higher than those of Western medicine group after treatment,and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).Before treatment,there was no difference in bone metabolism be-tween the two groups(P>0.05).After treatment,alkaline phosphatase and synthetic procollagen Ⅰ N-terminal propeptide were lower in the combined group,bone Gla-protein was higher in the combined group compared with Western medicine group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).There was no differ-ence in the inflammatory indexes between two groups before treatment(P>0.05).The inflammation index after treatment was significantly lower in the combined group than that in the Western medicine group,and the differ-ence was statistically significant(P<0.05).The total effective rate in the combined group(95.65%)was higher than that in the Western medicine group(78.26%),and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=6.133,P=0.013).Conclusion Jianshen Zhuanggu Decoction+Western medicine has good anti-inflammatory effect,can regulate bone metabolism and improve the bone mineral density of patients,it is recommended to choose peri-menopausal osteoporosis patients.
