Objective To analyze the efficacy of the combination of Tongtxinluo capsule and metoprolol tar-trate(MT)in the treatment of angina pectoris(AP)in coronary heart disease(CHD).Method A total of 198 CHD-AP patients admitted to the Department of Cardiology of Shanghe County People's Hospital from October 2021 to September 2023 were selected as the study objects and divided into two groups with 99 cases each ac-cording to random number table method.The control group was treated with MT,and the study group was treated with Tongxinluo capsule on the basis of the control group.The clinical efficacy,incidence of AP symp-toms,nitroglycerin dosage,and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of the study group was 95.86%,which was higher than 86.87%of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(χ2=6.111,P<0.05).After 8 weeks of treatment,the frequency and dura-tion of AP symptoms per week and the dosage of nitroglycerin in the study group were less than those in the con-trol group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).There was no statistically significant dif-ference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion MT combined with Tongxinluo capsule is effective in the treatment of CHD-AP,which can effectively improve the symptoms of pa-tients with good safety.
