Objective To compare the effect of resin inlay, bulk filling resin and traditional resin in repair-ing Class Ⅱ holes in isolated teeth. Methods A total of sixty patients with dented defects admitted to Zhenjiang First People's Hospital from June to December 2023 were selected as the research objects.According to differ-ent filling materials, the patients were divided into resin inlay group, bulk filling resin group and traditonal resin group, with 29 cases in each group. The edge crack width, edge microleakage depth and microleakage grade of different filling materials were compared. Results The edge crack width of the resin inlay group was the smallest, followed by the bulk filling resin group, and the largest was the traditonal resin group, and the differ-ence was statistically significant(F=15.758,P<0.05).The lowest edge microleakage depth was(0.95±0.08)mm in the resin input group, followed by the bulk filling resin group(1.12±0.10)mm,and the highest was(1.17±0.11)mm in the traditional resin group, and the difference was statistically significant(F=28.00,P<0.05).The microleakage grade of resin inlays group was lower than that of the other two groups, and the difference was sta-tistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Resin inlay was used in the repair of Class Ⅱ holes in isolated teeth, and the edge crack width, microleakage depth and grade of the prosthesis are lower than that of bulk filling resin and conventional resin, and the clinical effect is remarkable.
