Clinical Therapeutic Effect of Porcelain Veneer after Interstitial Micro-orthodontic Restoration of Anterior Teeth in Patients with Periodontal Disease
Objective To explore the clinical therapeutic effect of porcelain veneer after interstitial micro-orthodontic restoration of anterior teeth in patients with periodontal disease.Methods A total of 50 patients with anterior tooth displacement cansed by periodontal disease admitted to Nantong Stomatological Hospital from September 2021 to December 2022 were selected as the study objects,and divided into control group(n=25)and observation group(n=25)according to different treatment measures.The control group was treated with con-ventional periodontal treatment,and the observation group was treated with porcelain veneer after gap micro-orthodontic treatment on the basis of the control group.Periodontal status,dental function and patients'satisfac-tion before and after treatment were compared between the two groups.Results After treatment,the periodontal indexes of the observation group were lower than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Teach function score was higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Treatment satisfaction in the control group was 80.00%,lower than that in the observation group(100.00%),and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=6.756,P<0.05).Conclusion In the treatment of patients with anterior tooth displacement caused by periodontal disease,the effect of porcelain veneer restoration after interstitial micro-orthodontics is better.
