Objective To study the value of using multi-slice spiral CT in the clinical diagnosis of intesti-nal obstruction.Methods A total of 917 patients with suspected intestinal obstruction admitted to Xintai People's Hospital from January 2022 to December 2023 were selected as the study subjects.All subjects un-derwent multi-slice spiral CT scan after admission.The diagnostic coincidence rate and diagnostic efficiency of multi-slice spiral CT were analyzed with the comprehensive diagnosis of clinical manifestations,physical ex-amination and imaging examination as the gold standard.Results Among the patients with suspected intestinal obstruction,915 patients with intestinal obstruction were diagnosed by comprehensive diagnosis.The accuracy,sensitivity and specificity of multi-slice spiral CT diagnosis were 99.89%(916/917),100.00%(915/915)and 50.00%(1/2),respectively,and the kappa value was 0.666.The diagnostic coincidence rate of multi-slice spiral CT for different types of intestinal obstruction was 99.89%(914/915).Conclusion The application of multi-slice spiral CT examination has high accuracy and sensitivity in diagnosing intestinal obstruction.
