Objective To investigate the effectiveness and clinical value of magnetic resonance angiogra-phy and multi-spiral CT in the diagnosis of ischemic stroke patients. Methods A total of 80 patients with sus-pected ischemic stroke admitted to Shouguang People's Hospital of Shandong Province from October 2021 to October 2023 were selected as the research objects. All patients underwent magnetic resonance angiography and multi-spiral CT diagnosis.Digital subtraction angiography was used as the gold standard to compare the di-agnostic efficacy of different examination methods. Results The results of digital subtraction angiography showed that 42 patients were positive and 38 patients were negative.Multi-spiral CT diagnosed 30 positive cases and 50 negative cases.Magnetic resonance angiography diagnosed 41 positive cases and 39 negative cases.Compared with the specificity(73.68%),sensitivity(47.62%)and accuracy(60.00%)of multi-spiral CT diagnosis, the diagnostic efficiencies of magnetic resonance angiography(97.37%,95.24%,96.25%)were higher, and the differences were statistically significant(χ2=8.609,23.333,30.756,all P<0.05).Conclusion The clinical application of multi-spiral CT and magnetic resonance angiography for the diagnosis of ischemic stroke patients has differences in results.Magnetic resonance angiography has higher diagnostic efficiency and can lay the foundation for early diagnosis and treatment of ischemic stroke.
