Objective To explore the clinical effect of high concentration levofloxacin eye drops combined with ear tip bloodletting in the treatment of children's hordeolum.Methods Seventy cases of children with hor-deolum admitted to Pingyi Maternal and Child Health Hospital from March 2021 to May 2023 were selected as the study objects.They were divided into control group(35 cases,the treatment method was high concentration levofloxacin eye drops)and study group(35 cases,the treatment method was combination of high concentration levofloxacin eye drops and ear tip bloodletting)according to the different treatment methods.The two groups were compared in terms of total effective rate,total incidence of adverse effects,mass size and Visual Analogue Scale(VAS)score.Results The total effective rate of treatment in the study group was 97.14%(34/35),which was higher than that of 77.14%(27/35)in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=6.247,P＜0.05).The total incidence of adverse reactions in the study group was lower than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Before treatment,the difference between the two groups in terms of the size of the mass as well as the VAS score was not statistically significant(both P＞0.05).After treatment,the study group's mass size as well as VAS score were lower than the control group,and the dif-ferences were statistically significant(both P＜0.05).Conclusion High-concentration levofloxacin eye drops combined with ear tip bloodletting in the treatment of children's hordeolum can significantly improve the cura-tive effect,reduce a series of adverse reactions and mass size,and relieve pain.
