Objective To investigate the clinical therapeutic effect of Xiyanping Injection in pediatric rota-virus enteritis.Methods A total of 94 cases of pediatric rotavirus enteritis admitted to Shanghe Hospital of Tra-ditional Chinese Medicine from February 2021 to August 2022 were selected as the research object,and were divided into the control group(47 cases,receiving conventional drug therapy intervention)and the observation group(47 cases,receiving Xiyanping Injection on the basis of the control group)according to the difference in treatment methods.The clinical efficacy,levels of inflammatory factors(interleukin-6,C-reactive protein,pro-calcitonin)and clinical related symptoms were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was97.87%(46/47),which was higher than that of 85.11%(40/47)in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.919,P=0.027).After treatment,the level of inflammatory factors,antipyretic time and the time of viral conversion decreased in both groups were all im-proved,and the observation group was better than the control group,and the differences were statistically signifi-cant(all P＜0.05).The total incidence of adverse reactions in the observation groups were lower than those in the control group,and the difference were statistically significant(P＜005).Conclusion The application of Xiyan-ping Injection in the treatment of pediatric rotavirus enteritis is beneficial to improve the clinical symptoms of children,reduce the level of inflammatory factors,so as to improve the therapeutic effect and promote the recov-ery of the disease.
