Objective To analyze the curative effect of sodium hyaluronate combined with acupuncture on dry eye syndrome.Methods Clinical data of eighty patients with dry eye syndrome treated in Jinan Jiyang Dis-trict Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from October 2021 to October 2023 were retrospectively se-lected.According to the different treatments method the patients were divided into control group(sodium hyal-uronate eye drops treatment)and combined group(sodium hyaluronate combined acupuncture treatment)ac-cording to different treatment methods,with forty cases each.The Tradiontion Chinese Medicine syndrome scores,clinical efficacy,Visual-related Quality of Life,inflammatory factors(interferon-γ,interleukin-4)and dacrydim levels were compared between the two groups.Results After treatment,compared with the control group,the combined group had lower Traditional Chinese Medicine syndrome scores and higher Vision-related Quality of Life score,and the improvement of inflammatory factors and dacrydim indexes was better,and the dif-ferences were statistically significant(all P＜0.05).The total effective rate of the combined group was 97.50%(39/40),which was higher than 82.50%(33/40)of the control group,and the difference was statistically signifi-cant(χ2=5.000,P=0.025).Conclusion The clinical effect of sodium hyaluronate combined acupuncture and moxibustion is ideal for dry eye syndrome.
