Objective To compare the application effects of two oral bonding materials in restorative dental treatment. Methods The clinical data of Fifty patients who underwent fixed denture(single crown)restorations in the Department of Stomatology of Nanjing University of Science and Technology Hospital from August 2020 to January 2022 were retrospective selected. The patients were divided into the control group(n=25)and a study group(n=25)according to the different materials used. The control group was treated with 3M glass iono-mer as oral bonding material and the study group was treated with resin bonding agent as oral bonding material. The gingival index, complication rate and high masticatory efficiency of the patients were compared and ana-lyzed 6 months after surgery between the two groups. Results There was no significant difference in gingival in-dex between the two groups at 6 months after operation(P>0.05).There was no significant difference in the total incidence of complications between the study group 4.00%(1/25)and the control group 8.00%(2/25)(χ2=2.355,P=0.092).The masticatory function of both groups was improved after 6 months of intervention, and the mastica-tory efficiency and occlusal force of the study group were higher than those of the control group, and the differ-ences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).Conclusion During the implementation of oral repair treat-ment,the use of glass ionomer or resin bonding agent as a bonding material for patients can achieve better re-sults,and the incidence of patient complications is low,and help to improve the masticatory function of patients.
