Objective To analyze the application effect of micro-screw implant support in orthodontic pa-tients and explore the effect of this method on the root resorption status of the patients.Methods Fifty patients who underwent orthodontics in the Department of Orthodontics of Yancheng Stomatological Hospital from Janu-ary 2022 to May 2023 were selected as the study subjects,and they were divided into two groups of 25 patients each according to the different treatment plans of the patients.The the control group was treated with extraoral arch strong support,and the observation group was treated with micro-screw implant support.Compare the treat-ment effect of the two groups of patients,occurrence of complications and the effect on their root resorption sta-tus.Results After treatment,the volume of mesial incisors,lateral incisors,and cuspids in the upper and lower jaws of the two groups were compared,and the differences were not statistically significant(all P＞0.05).The com-plication rate of the observation group was lower than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was 96.00%(24/25)was higher than 68.00%(17/25)in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=5.357,P＜0.05).Conclusion In orthodontics,the application of micro-screw implant support not only improves the efficacy,but also reduces the occurrence of complications and has less effect on root resorption.
