Objective To compare the clinical effect of AH-Plus and iRoot SP filling in single root canal treatment.Methods Forty patients who received root canal treatment in department of general dentistry in Nan-tong Stomatological Hospital from October 2021 to February 2023 were selected as the study objects.According to the different treatment methods,they were divide to the control group(hot dental glue vertical pressure filling with AH-Plus paste)and the study group(hot dental glue vertical pressure filling with iRoot SP paste),twenty cases each.The incidence of pain,excellent and good rate of root canal filling and adverse reactions were com-pared between the two groups.Results After treatment,the total effective rate of the study group was 95.00%(19/20),which was higher than that of the control group 70.00%(14/20),and the difference was statistically sig-nificant(χ2=4.329,P＜0.05).There was no significant difference in the rate of filling between the two groups(P＞0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in study group was lower than that in control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion Epoxy AH-Plus paste and bioceramics iRoot SP paste both had better filling effect during vertical pressure filling of hot dental glue during single root canal treatment,but the incidence of short-term postoperative pain and adverse reactions were lower in the iRoot SP paste.
