Objective To explore the effect of non-invasive ventilator on respiratory failure. Methods A to-tal of eighty patients with respiratory failure admitted to Panzhou Second People's Hospital from February 2022 to February 2024 were selected as the research objects and divided into control group and study group according to different treatment methods, with forty patients each. The control group received symptomatic treatment, and the study group received non-invasive ventilator treatment on the basis of the control group. The clinical effi-cacy,blood gas index, physical sign index and complication were compared between the two groups. Results The effective rate of the study group was 97.50%(39/40),which was higher than 82.50%(33/40)of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=5.000,P<0.05).After treatment, the carbon dioxide fraction of the study group was lower than that of the control group, and the oxygen partial pressure and oxygen saturation were higher than that of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).After treatment, the heart rate, respiration, blood pressure of physical signs in the study group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The complication rate of the study group was lower than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Non-invasive ventilator has a good effect in improving physical signs, can return arte-rial blood gas to the normal state, can avoid complications caused by ventilation treatment, and is highly effec-tive,and can improve the prognosis of patients with respiratory failure.
