Objective To study the clinical application value of spiral CT in the diagnosis of mechanical ocular trauma.Methods A total of 90 patients(95 eyes)with suspected mechanical eye trauma admitted to Nan-cheng People's Hospital of Shanxian County from May 2022 to May 2023 were selected as the study objects.All of them received spiral CT and ocular ultrasound examination,and the examination results of slit lamp were used as the gold standard.The diagnostic results and diagnostic efficiency of the two methods were compared.Results In 90 patients(95 eyes)with suspected mechanical eye trauma,86 eyes were confirmed by slit-lamp ex-amination.By spiral CT,75 eyes were positive and 20 eyes were negative.Using eye ultrasound,60 eyes were positive and 35 were negative.The diagnostic accuracy,sensitivity,specificity,positive predictive value and negative predictive value of spiral CT were higher than those of ocular ultrasound,and the differences were sta-tistically significant(all P＜0.05).Conclusion Compared with ultrasound examination,spiral CT can improve the diagnostic efficiency of mechanical ocular trauma.
