Objective To investigate the diagnostic efficacy of CT and magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)in early lacunar cerebral infarction.Methods A total of 40 patients with suspected early lacunar cerebral infarc-tion admitted to Linyi Geriatric Hospital Co.,Ltd.from February 2020 to February 2023 were selected as the re-search objects.All subjects underwent CT and MRI examinations.With pathological diagnosis as the gold stan-dard,the diagnostic efficacy,lesion size detection and lesion location examination of CT and MRI were statisti-cally analyzed,and the diagnostic coincidence rate was calculated.Results Pathological diagnosis confirmed 25 cases of positive patients,15 cases of negative patients.The diagnostic efficacy values of MRI were higher than those of CT,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).In 25 patients with early lacunar cere-bral infarction,30 lesions were detected by CT examination,and 100 lesions were detected by MRI examina-tion.The diagnostic coincidence rate of MRI<5 mm and>5 mm were 92.86%(26/28)and 98.67%(74/75),re-spectively,which were higher than 17.86%(5/28)and 33.33%(25/75)of CT,and the differences were statisti-cally significant(χ2=31.865,71.331,both P<0.05).The coincidence rate of CT examination of parietal lobe,frontal lobe,brainstem and basal ganglia lesions were lower than those of MRI,and the differences were statisti-cally significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion For early lacunar cerebral infarction,compared with CT,MRI can more clearly display the lesion information,improve the detection rate of the lesion,and avoid the omission of small lesions.
